The new office building for Columbia-based architectural firm CDA Architects, Inc. is approximately 14,500 square feet with a lower level parking garage located on a prominent corner in the Vista. The project showcases sustainable design strategies and CDA is pursuing Silver Certification through LEED. The project recently won ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air Conditioning Engineers) Regional Technology Award for outstanding achievement in Heating, Refrigeration, and Air-Conditioning Technology in Commercial Buildings – New Construction.

Cox and Dinkins, Inc. has worked closely with CDA Architects to incorporate LEED in the project, including underground detention with infiltration as well as under-building parking to minimize heat island effect.
