Robert L. Echols, Jr.
Rob Echols is the Director of Business Development and strategic growth for the transportation services division at Cox and Dinkins. His extensive knowledge and well-deserved reputation in the transportation design industry helps position the firm as a leading provider of transportation engineering services.
Rob joined the firm in 2016 after an expansive career culminating as CEO of Florence and Hutcheson, where he was well known for his expertise and established that firm as a regional leader in transportation. Most notably, he was responsible for the first Single-Point-Urban-Interchange (SPUI) project in S.C. and for the Interstate 77 Southern Connector project, the first public-private partnership highway project of its kind in the region.
Previously Mr. Echols was a Professional Engineer in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, and Kentucky, and he was a Professional Land Surveyor in South Carolina. Rob L Echols, Jr. graduated from the University of Kentucky with a B.S. in Civil Engineering.View All Leadership
